Proposal templates: B2B services
Three ready-to-adapt proposals: recurring service with SLA, fixed-scope project and hour pack.
Recurring contracts live or die on what is written: scope, response time and what happens when the scope grows. These templates put that in the proposal, where the signature turns it into a closed deal.
Recurring service with SLA
Suggested introduction: "[company] hires ongoing capacity with a guaranteed response: a defined monthly scope, an SLA in writing, and a report that proves it was met."
- Monthly scope: [describe].
- SLA: response within [N] business hours.
- Monthly report of service and consumption.
Suggested terms: 12-month term with automatic renewal; annual adjustment by [index]. Monthly billing; the first cycle is charged on acceptance.
Fixed-scope project
Suggested introduction: "Defined delivery, fixed price: survey, execution and delivery against a written acceptance criterion, with a [30]-day warranty."
- Survey and execution plan.
- Execution: [describe the delivery].
- Delivery against a written acceptance criterion.
- [30]-day warranty after acceptance.
Suggested terms: [30]% deposit on acceptance, balance on approved delivery. What is not in the items is not in the price: new scope is a new version of this proposal.
Hour pack
Suggested introduction: "A block of [N] hours to use when needed, with a defined validity and a consumption statement: predictability for both sides."
- Block of [N] hours of [service].
- Valid for [90] days.
- Consumption statement at every use.
Suggested terms: full payment on acceptance. Hours unused within the validity expire. A new block is a new proposal.
